This year changed our daily routines and habits profoundly (writing this minutes after cleaning bottles of alcohol that I bought for the new year’s night with alcohol wipes..) We had to find new ways of celebrating holidays and engage with each other while social distancing. There is no doubt 2020 has been one of the hardest years of our collective lives. Yet, as disasters often do, this pandemic inspired artists and creatives from different backgrounds to produce more. Let’s have a look at some of the festive illustrations of new normal caught on our radar.
Instagram definitely became the life saver and creative outlet for the artists during the lock downs. Many artists hosted and participated pandemic themed drawing challenges. One of the motivational challenges was “Together Apart Holidays”. A group of great artists come up with this drawing challenge to keep the holiday spirit alive during the quarantine.
